WHO ARE WE?
EDMAT UM is an annual motivational program organized by The Engineering Society of University of Malaya (ESUM) since 1978. This program aims to develop, motivate and create awareness on the importance of engineering education among undergraduates. In the previous years, EDMAT UM has welcomed undergraduates from various ASEAN universities besides local universities in Malaysia.

This year, EDMAT-46 proudly join forces with the Malaya Makerthon, elevating the competition to an international stage while embracing EDMAT's rich legacy and branding. With the theme "Econova: Engineering Breakthroughs for Climate Action", EDMAT-46 aligns with SDG Goal 13: Climate Action, championing innovative engineering solutions for a sustainable future.
The event promises an unforgettable experience with activities like technical visits, masterclasses, the makerthon, a cultural night, and an exciting city tour. Participants will not only tackle global challenges but also develop critical thinking skills, enhance communication abilities, and build strong, diverse networks with like-minded innovators.
